ALTERFORM™ CFA Additives enable density reductions of up to 40% in formulations having as high as 60% wood filler. As shown in the graph at left, the effect of filler level on density using 1% ALTERFORM™ CFA 1050 Additives are positively impacted with high density polyethylene (HDPE) and conventional polypropylene (PP) based composites.

Density reduction is also improved in low and fractional melt index formulations.
